Our security guards are drawn from professional security backgrounds, which enable them to take on the toughest assignments along with more routine security tasks. We look for security officers who are going to offer more than the average guard because the assignments we receive from our clients are often in tough and difficult environments. Security for a site which has been occupied by squatters, for example, requires security officers to demonstrate above average skills of observation, ingenuity, and fortitude.
Accredited to ACS standard, Shergroup Security provides guards at three distinct levels to tailor their experience to the security needs of the client.
Working either covertly or overtly in support of our clients’ security tasks, Shergroup Security officers are alert, professional and discreet.
Shergroup Security guards are graded according to the task in hand and their own individual SIA licence. Our skill is to place the right level of guard into a security assignment so that the client receives best value in terms of cost and overall service.
Our grading system is as follows:
Level 1 Security Guards – are also referred to as ‘static guards' and carry out routine security assignments where a security presence is needed
Level 2 Security Guards – are trained to the standard set by the SIA as Door Supervisors and will be deployed in more demanding situations to take advantage of their additional training and experience
Level 3 Security Guards – are also referred to as Close Protection Officers and are the highest qualified security professionals. These guards will be deployed in assignments requiring the most demanding security presence.
