Formed in 2007, Shergroup Security achieved the coveted Approved Contractor Status awarded by the Security Industry Authority in 2009.
As part of Shergroup Limited, Shergroup Security is part of a business services group with offices in Essex, England, and Noida, India . The company has more than 100 staff and contractors working in the fields of security, technology, outsourcing, legal and enforcement services.

History of Shergroup
The company dates back to 1780 and was formerly known as Burchell and Ruston . It is the sixth oldest recorded law firm in the UK .
The law firm changed its name to Shergroup in 2004 and in 2007 it was incorporated into a limited company with its law firm interests being separated into Sherwins Limited which is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (see www.sherwins.net ).
The idea to create a security division was as a result of seeing a niche in the market to support enforcement officers when enforcing a High Court order for possession.
As a result of this support we have been able to develop a range of security services to support our eviction management process and to help customers with large and small security assignments often in difficult situations.
